In this video, we discuss how to tell a story during your interview that doesn’t leave the interviewers mind wandering, or wishing you’d wrap it up. Telling a story to get your point across takes strategy, and can be extremely powerful when done correctly.
Extra tips on being competitive
REMEMBER, IT'S THE BIG PICTURE
It’s not one single thing that will make you competitive, it’s the whole picture. What’s your GPA? What’s your leadership skills? What about your ICU experience? Any community involvement? How much did you shadow? Are you involved in your profession?
These are the questions that you need to ask yourself and what we focus on in these lessons. Remember, it takes time to become well-rounded, but it really is about the whole package!
ON DEMAND MOCK INTERVIEWS
HOW IT WORKS: Click on the images below to be taken to an on demand practice interview according to the topic listed. We will ask you prerecorded questions and you record your answers and watch them back to critique yourself. These are not shared with anyone. We highly suggest you take these without reviewing the worksheets first, and practice your delivery skills “on the fly”. Take these as many times as you need to.
